- Provide and maintain safe and healthy workplaces with safe systems of working practices and appropriate guidance.
- Provide all employees with the information, instruction, training and supervision required to enable them to carry out their tasks safely.
- Provide such protective equipment as is necessary for the health and safety at work of employees and visitors.
- Make arrangements for safe handling, transport and storage of plant, equipment, tools, materials and substances.
- Provide and maintain plant, equipment and tools in a safe and reliable condition.
- Engage and consult with employees on day to day health and safety conditions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure disposal of waste.
- Report all accidents and incidents of work-related ill health.
- Implement a anti-drugs, alcohol and smoking policy.
